Taking Requests

I just wanted to make it known that I am willing to take requests for dishcloth pattern ideas. I am still learning but am willing to try anything at least once. Feel free to post requests here or email me at gimpykatk@aol.com. Please put pattern request in subject line so I can read it right away. And please remember to leave a way foe me to contact you if I am able to create your request.

My camera is not the best so if you make one of the patterns and get a better picture, I'd love to see it and maybe use it as the example photo.

If you are not a knitter and would rather have a finished knitted cloth of any of these patterns I am also glad to knit them up for you. Contact me for prices and shipping, as they may vary depending on the number of cloths ordered.

I have had many comments regarding needle sizes used for my patterns. Unless I specify, feel free to use any size needle you are comfortable with. A picture pattern may show up better with a smaller needle if you are a loose knitter. I am a loose knitter so I tend to us a US 3 or US 4 sized needle. But there is no gauge with a dishcloth and most cloths will use no more that a ball of cotton regardless of needle size.

Thank you for visiting my blog and looking at my first sets of original patterns.

Note: There has been an intarsia version of this pattern made and it is awesome. If you prefer the color contrast to the raised pattern please check out this blog for the chart and pictures of the six clothes she knitted. They are wonderful.

HI Kathy,

I am hoping to find the Scottie vs. 2 this evening.

Went to see baby last pm.My sister took me. He had a slight fever prolly teething. Went up with Em tonight and took some infant tylenol as she couldn't find hers. Also took winter coat my other sister bought for him. Nobody was home.

She and my ds have separated as of Thanksgiving.

Hi there! I used your pattern as an intarsia chart and I loved it! I posted pictures (with credit, of course) on my blog at http://peridragon.blogspot.com/2008/12/scottie-washcloths.html if you would like to see how they turned out.

Thank you for the pattern! The cloths made perfect Christmas gifts for my family.

I love all of your patterns but the scottie dog really intrigued me and is a perfect gift for my friends who foster care scottie dogs until they are ready to be adopted. One question though, how do you change the color to make the scottie dog and lettering a different color? I have always wanted to do that but never have been taught how to. thanx
